Karstadt Service providers REISEZEIT Magazine 01/09 Present situation: The travel agencies Karstadt and Holiday Travel by Karstadt belong to the biggest travel agency chains, that belong to only one group, in Germany. The 128 travel agencies are situated in representive meeting points with a high customerfrequency in Karstadt department stores which again are very well located in the towncenters. On normal working days the department stores have a nationwide customerfreqeuncy of 2.5 milion people. Therefore the travel agencies are integrated into an interesting market – a novum in the travel agency sector. Task: A high quality customer magazine with lifestyle character as a binding/ tying instrument for customers. The objective of the magazine is to arouse the cutomers interest / urge for traveling and give them an informative magazine with added touristic value. With only six to eight traveloffers the sale of holidaytrips stays in the background of the magazine. Each edition introduces/presents four or five attractive holiday destinations. Target Group: middle class between 35 and 65 with high earnings Couples between 35 and 50 with children Couples between 35 and 50 without children active seniors of the age group 50+ |
