Since 2003, the EureLea, the European E-Learning Award, is given annually on the occasion of the LEARNTEC (European Convention and Trade Fair for Education and Information Technology). An international jury judges among the best pan-European entries of electronic multimedia learning methods. The Malta E-Learning was nominated one of the three finalists for the award in 2005.
